Morning prayer is a key habit for those who wish to strengthen their relationship with God and seek His direction on a daily basis. As we commit our worries, anxieties, and plans for the day to Him, we acknowledge our dependence on His guidance and wisdom. Prayer to start the day well

"Dear God, I come before you today with a heavy heart. I know that I have been carrying the weight of bitterness in my life and it has kept me from living fully. So today I ask you to help me get rid of the bitterness and resentment that has been taking over me.

I ask that you help me to forgive those who have hurt me, even when it seems impossible. Help me to see people through your eyes and understand their motivations. May I be able to let go of the bitterness and anger I have been carrying in my heart.

Help me to release forgiveness into my life, not only for others, but also for myself. May I be able to forgive myself for the mistakes I have made and the failures I have had in my life. May I learn to love myself as you love me, knowing that I am a beloved and precious child in your eyes.

Help me to overcome the hurts of the past and to look to the future with hope and joy. May I find the peace that only you can give and may it transform my life in a powerful way.

May your love flood my heart and help me to love those who have hurt me. May I be able to show the same grace and mercy that you have shown me.

Lord, I ask that you help me to let go of bitterness and to live in peace with you and with my neighbor. May your light shine in my life and may I be a source of love and compassion to those around me.

In Jesus' name, amen."

Message of the day about resentment

Bitterness is a feeling of resentment that can arise when we feel wronged or betrayed by someone. It can be an obstacle to our happiness and well-being, as it can consume our mental and emotional energy, and prevent us from moving forward. Belief in God can be a source of comfort in dealing with resentment, as many religions preach forgiveness and compassion as core values.

In many religious traditions, the idea of forgiveness is central, and is seen as a path to liberation from suffering. Forgiveness does not necessarily mean forgetting what happened, but rather letting go of the bitterness and anger that we feel toward the other person, and seeking a path of healing and reconciliation. Prayer, meditation, and other religious practices can help cultivate this attitude of compassion and forgiveness toward oneself and others.

However, belief in God is not an automatic guarantee that we will be able to forgive and let go of resentment. We must consciously work on our mental and emotional attitude, and seek support in religious communities or in other forms of therapy and counseling. The process of inner healing and transformation can be long and challenging, but it is possible with perseverance and dedication.

In short, resentment is a negative feeling that can damage our emotional and mental health. Belief in God can be a source of comfort and guidance in dealing with bitterness, as many religious traditions preach forgiveness and compassion as core values. However, we need to consciously work on our mental and emotional attitude, and seek support in religious communities or other forms of therapy and counseling to let go of bitterness and cultivate inner peace.
